As the Calliope AHC athletics section approaches its 50th year the junior section continues to
remain a vital part of the club, and the club's future.
The club has a proud history at the junior level. Over the years children who have begun their
athletics with our juniors have continued on to provincial and national success both on the track and in the field.
The junior section caters for children aged from five through to fourteen beginning on Monday 3rd November
starting at 5 pm, going through till 6pm for the under 10s, and 6:30 pm for the older children. We provide a
host of activities in a fun environment that will help promote health and wellbeing in your children from a young age.

Registrations are taken at our club rooms; Birkenhead War Memorial grounds, Mahara Ave
Birkenhead
4-7pm Monday 19th and 20th October and 5-7pm Wednesday 28th October, with the athletics season proper starting the following week.
Fees are $15 for under sevens and $35 for children seven years and over.
Please note the club does not have EFTPOS facilities.
We actively encourage parents to join in, so if you would like to volunteer to help out please let us know.
